Our Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to our Journals are rigorously peer-reviewed to ensure quality, validity and authenticity. This journal employs a double-blind peer review process. This means that the identities of both the reviewer and the author are concealed from each other throughout the review process. The steps involved in the review process are as follows.
- Submission of Manuscript: Authors submit their manuscript through our online submission system.
- Initial Screening: The editorial team checks the manuscript’s adherence to guidelines and scope.
- Peer Review: The manuscript is sent to at least two independent experts to evaluate the manuscript based on predetermined criteria. Reviewers provide detailed comments and recommendations.
- Decision: The editing team reaches a conclusion by considering the recommendations provided by the reviewers. The editor makes a decision to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript.
- Revision: Authors may be requested to make revisions and submit the work again, specifically addressing the suggestions provided by the reviewers.
- Final Decision: Once revisions are satisfactory, the manuscript undergoes final editing and proofreading before publication.
Components of the Review Process
The peer-review approach comprises multiple components:
- Quality assessment: In order to assign appropriate reviewers, editors match reviewers with the scope of the content in a manuscript to get the best reviews possible. Reviewers assess the manuscript’s quality, significance and scientific merit.
- Confidentiality: Reviewers maintain the confidentiality of the review process.
- Feedback: Reviewers provide constructive feedback to authors to improve the manuscript.
- Timeliness: Reviewers are expected to complete their reviews within the designated timeframe.
Time Frame for Completing the Review of Articles
We strive to ensure a fair, objective, and timely review of all submitted manuscripts. This journal aims to complete the review process within four weeks from the initial submission. However, the actual time frame may vary depending on factors such as the reviewers’ availability and the extent of revisions required.
